Conservatories in the West Midlands
Conservatories of today are incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of different ways, e.g. a welcoming open-plan living room, a value-adding kitchen extension or a light & airy dining room. Providing growing families with essential extra space and light, there are many advantages to a warm and cosy conservatory installation.
Orangeries
Orangeries ideally bridge the gap between classic conservatories and full-blown extension builds. Extravagant, durable and exceptionally thermally efficient, our orangery installations add a real ‘wow-factor’ to any West Midland home they’re applied to. And, unless you live within a conservation area, it’s unlikely that you’ll require planning permission.
Porches
Porches make an excellent addition to any entranceways. An equally good fit at either the front or back of your home, these stylish structures allow you to wow any guests upon entering your property. In addition to their obvious visual appeal, you’ll also be getting an additional layer of insulation and security for your home, so you can expect lots of substance, not just plenty of style.
Our glazed extensions are constructed with a combination of high-performance materials and structural designs to provide outstanding levels of thermal performance that will keep your home warm during the winter months and cooler in the summer, providing the perfect additional living space for your West Midlands home. With an array of high-quality glazing options for our orangeries, conservatories and porches, you can improve your home’s carbon footprint with a new glazed extension in Walsall and beyond.

View galleryAn orangery falls somewhere in between an extension and a conservatory. Orangeries tend to have large windows and a raised glass roof, all supported by a strong brick structure. Also, they often utilise a roof lantern which helps to increase the amount of natural light that is able to make its way through into your home.
Conservatories are another style of home extension, with ours featuring glass walls and either pitched glazed roofs or tiled roofs. Like orangeries, conservatories can be a fantastic option to help increase the amount of both fresh air and natural light into your property and of course increasing the overall size and quality of your living space.
There are differences when it comes to the general glazing of the roofs and walls, with an orangery generally having less than 75% of its roof glazed and less than 50% of its walls glazed. A conservatory, meanwhile, is typically a fully-glazed structure with over 75% of its roof glazed and over 50% of walls glazed.
